HospitalBillDecoded (hospitalbilldecoded.com) is an educational digital product published by CLEARDEAL LLC: a triage checker, state-law summaries, guides, checklists, scripts, and trackers about hospital financial assistance (charity care) and hospital billing. The checker is provided free for general education. The HospitalBillDecoded Kit is sold for a one-time payment of $49 and delivered as a web page you can return to and print.
Education only — not advice, not a service. HospitalBillDecoded publishes information about how hospital financial assistance works under federal section 501(r) and state law. It is not medical, legal, tax, or financial advice; it is not a bill-negotiation, advocacy, or application service; and it creates no professional relationship. We do not contact any hospital on your behalf. Eligibility decisions are made by hospitals under their own policies; we make no promise that any bill will be reduced or written off, in whole or in part.
Your information stays yours. The checker is designed to run without personal or health information: it asks for a hospital type, a state, a household size, an income range, and a date, and computes in your browser. Do not send us medical records, bills, or account credentials by email; we do not need them and cannot act on them.
Accuracy and dates. Laws, poverty guidelines, and hospital policies change. Figures on this site are stamped with the date they were checked and cited to their sources; state summaries rest on the sources named on each page. Your hospital's current policy and your state's current law control your case. Verify any deadline against your first billing statement before acting on it.
Acceptable use. The kit is licensed to the buyer for their own household use. Do not redistribute, resell, or publish the kit contents.
